About Sungirl Silver
Currently based in East Sussex, I am seeking positions and opportunities Teaching or Lecturing and keen to get involved with any creative projects, from commissions to research, anywhere in the south of England.
I feel a fundamental connection with the ideals of the Arts & Crafts movement, namely that the satisfaction of creating is derived from knowing & performing all the processes from concept to delivery and that a simple, well made, handcrafted object is a thing of beauty. I approach all tasks with this in mind, whether I am working as an Artist, Jeweller, Smithy, Tutor or Writer.
Offering students an understanding into all the stages of a project offers them a skill set to independantly create their own ideas with a keen feeling of satisfaction in their work.
